WE SERVE
The Clear lake Lions Club was formed in 1973 by 26 community oriented individuals.
Today, the Clear Lake Lions Club is a local community service organization whose members are part of The International Association of Lions Clubs, the largest service organization in the world, with worldwide membership of over 1.4 million members in over 45,000 clubs located in over 200 countries or geographical regions.
The Lions motto is “We Serve”. Our mission is to serve the needs of our local community through several volunteer projects. Some of our community service and fundraising projects include: fish fry's during lent, concessions at Palmer Ball, Palmer Day beverage garden, highway cleanup, and BINGO at local establishments.
The Clear Lake Lions Club has supported Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Clear Lake/Clearwater youth baseball, Palmer softball, Clearview school, Becker schools, Clear Lake/Clearwater food shelf, Becker area food shelf, Friendship Ventures, Briggs Lake Chain Association, numerous veteran groups, area townships and parks, and several other community projects. We also support several Lions projects at the district, multi-district and international level, which include Lions Eye Bank, Lions Hearing Foundation, Lions Hearing Dog, Lions Leader Dog and the Wellness Van.
The Clear Lake Lions Club is currently the largest club in Sherburne County and we are always looking for new members. If you are a civic minded person, looking to volunteer some time for your local community, please contact any Lions member or one of the officers listed on our web site.
